A Rule ID is the unique identifier assigned to a specific version of a rule. Each time a rule is edited and saved, a new Rule ID is created. This makes it possible to:

• Track exactly which version of a rule was active when a case, alert, or decision was generated.
• Provide full auditability by recording when changes occurred and what operational impact they had.
