Abstract
An Origination Rule ID is the permanent identifier that stays the same for the entire lifecycle of a rule. All versions of the same rule share this ID, which ensures:
- Traceability back to the original intent of the rule.
- A stable anchor for audit history, even when rules are modified or updated.
A new Origination Rule ID is only generated when a rule is completely re-created, such as when its purpose, intent, or risk treatment changes significantly.
